The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce it will host the 2016 Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival on Oct. 1, 2016 from 10am until 7pm.
This exciting family-friendly event will once again be held in beautiful Kiroli Park in West Monroe. Admission to the festival is FREE, although admission to Kiroli Park is $1 per person.
The Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival will celebrate its 13thanniversary this year, making it the longest running northeast Louisiana festival still in existence.
Make plans to enjoy a day-long celebration of Celtic culture including various musical performances. Headlining the event is Tony Davoren and His Merry Band, Emerald Accent, Smithfield Fair and others. Also included in this year’s musical lineup are the Jackson Irish Dancers, Jim Flanagan and Davy Arwine. There will also be an assortment of food vendors, craft vendors and children’s activities.
New to this year’s festival is the addition of St. Baldrick’s Children’s Cancer Foundation Group. St. Baldrick’s will play an integral part in the festival as well as raising funds for Children’s Cancer Research.
