Our 24th Annual Powwow is set for April 28-29, 2017! Every Spring the Tribe hosts a traditional powwow. In 2014 we held our 21st Annual Powwow at our new Powwow Grounds at 217 Gene Knight Road, Ebarb (Noble), LA 71462. It was attended by many of our Indian friends from across the country, representing 20 or more different tribes. Tim Tallchief was MC, Vance Beaver was AD, Tim Denett was Head Gourd Dancer, Billy Barham was Head Man Dancer, and Janella Procell was Head Lady Dancer. Ottertrail was Host Southern Drum. Buffalo Boy was Host Northern Drum, Krista Remedies was Head Little Lady and Matthew Lovelady was Head Little Man. As always, it was an alcohol and drug free event suited for families. The general public is always invited to attend and to enjoy the music, dance, food, and arts and crafts. Our Chief and the Tribal Council work diligently each year to make the Powwow a successful event. Our powwows are always smoke, drug, and alcohol free events. No coolers allowed. For more information, call the Choctaw-Apache Tribal Office at 318-645-6747.
